A Good Neighbor

Over the past months, I have observed that Texans live like Africans. For example, my sponsor parent’s neighbors and friends are wonderful, caring and loving people. Africans likewise live the same way, they take care of their friends’ and neighbors’ children. For instance, my mom never worries about guidance when she travels, because she knows that there is always someone that will represent her when she is absence. Same goes to Deerfield neighborhood, it is a great community with precious people with love and passion for others around them. What is the reason of been selfish; it only leads you to your early grave, because you feel that your neighbors are like your adversary--exchanging greetings or gifts is difficult for you. Neighbor should protect, respect, and love one another. You are all one family in Christ, whether you are from different denomination, you both serve the same living God. Why not protect one another family, embrace each other, appreciate and be delighted for one success? I must say a big thank you to my mom friends, the Johnson’s family, the Sutton’s, the Peggy’s, the Wilkins and the Powell’s, for their time and love over the past seven months. You people are example of good neighbors’.

One of my best days ever in the U.S

If only I decide to keep this to myself, I will be ungrateful to God for the good things he did for me on July fourth 2008. Thanks to Ms. Gail and Mr. Mark for celebrating United States Independence Day with me. I appreciate it a lot, it was one of my best days ever, and I will always remember this day. I started the day by wining in a three straight set 6,0 ,6,0 ,6,0 against a former university intramural player, I also played little golf , have a nice traditional independence dinner and later road in a 1947 jeep to Pine forest to watched the fire work displayed. That was awesome. Finally we came back home, and ate apple pie and ice cream for desert.
